Aftercare
So, everyone's skin is different! Which means it's going to react and heal differently. With my background as a licensed esthetician, I have a bit of insight into what might be best for your skin for aftercare and can give my best recommendations!
What I am NOT is a doctor (praise be, for everyone's sake) and if you have any skin conditions or health concerns please connect with your GP about them. I want what's best for the biggest organ of your body :)

But in general...I recommend:

-
After leaving your wrap on for the recommended time, you can remove it and wash your tattoo with warm water and unscented soap. Pat (pat! pat!) dry with a clean paper towel
-
Apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment/balm to the tattoo 2-3 times a day for three days (as needed, when it's feeling a bit dry)
-
To maintain the longevity and health of your tattoo, continue moisturizing the tattooed area with unscented body lotion (Aquaphor is great!)
-
Avoid moisturizers containing mineral oil, paraffin, or petroleum, and no Neosporin!
-
And then! You enter the itchy phase. It's crucial you let your tattoo do its thing now; don't pick or peel scabs; it may cause the tattoo to fall out/lose ink.
